Throughout her childhood, Kora got involved with the Rhode Island Ovarian Cancer Alliance. Ever since, she has been passionate about spreading awareness and supporting those with cancer. Her knowledge of cancer grew overtime since her mom was an oncology nurse for many years. Kora wanted an opportunity to help patients that are battling/battled with other cancer diagnoses not just ovarian. Therefore, Kora had a passion to join The Izzy Foundation Y.O.U.T.H. Board to lend a hand to children and families with cancer. In addition, she is looking forward to giving back to the community because she herself was a patient at Hasbro various times and mentioned how they took such great care of her. During her free time, she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her golden retriever.
