Cristina was diagnosed with cancer in 2011 and through The Izzy Foundation her parents were able to find hope in knowing that their daughter was going to be ok. They were comforted by the families and patients that they met along the way as it helped them in realizing they were not alone. Cristina volunteered to take part in our 1st Annual Izzy IZspirers Campaign in December 2023 and was the Runner Up! The campaign is a fundraising initiative designed for students in high school and/or college to raise funds, spread awareness and foster their volunteerism which Cristina did with hard work, grace, and light.
