Tammy began working for The Izzy Foundation in October 2017 as our Office Manager. This opportunity fulfilled a desire to be involved with an organization that plays such a significant role in the pediatric cancer community. She has extensive experience in the role of Office Manager, including working under business owners, CEOs, and a Vice President of a Fortune 100 company.

Her passion for supporting pediatric cancer patients and their families began when her son, and only child KJ was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia in December 2011 at the age of 9. After meeting so many families that have been affected by this awful disease, Tammy was motivated to give back and did so by co-founding a monthly peer support group sponsored by Foundation. She has a profound understanding of what the Izzy Families experience on a daily basis which affords her the opportunity to provide support, knowledge, guidance and advocacy skills.
