Erin Scott, MSW LICSW
Clinical Supervisor

Erin moved to Rhode Island in 2010 and started volunteering with The Izzy Foundation soon thereafter. Erin has a passion for nonprofits and has worked in the nonprofit health care sector since 1999. Erin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and was the Foundations first employee. Erin was the Executive Director from 2014 to 2022 and ran all the necessary details of the organization including development, events, support groups and all aspects of the Izzy Family Room by providing supervision for interns, training volunteers, community donations, ordering supplies/meals and facilitating all inpatient programs.

Erin is currently the Manager of Patient & Family Centered Care at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Additionally, Erin is still very involved with The Izzy Foundation as her role has shifted to Clinical Supervisor – providing academic supervision to the Izzy Family Room interns. Erin is a parent of a child who had cancer, which enables her to have a unique sense of empathy and understanding for families at diagnosis and beyond.

Erin enjoys spending time with her family, is an avid lover of musical theater and in her spare time you can find her at the beach with her husband Mike, their three girls and their dog – Rosie.
