I am excited to join The Izzy Foundation team and utilize my years of experience in the non-profit sector to assist families to live, laugh, love and play during some of their hardest days. I am an attorney by training, but after several years prosecuting cases and several more training prosecutors in Massachusetts, I decided to stay home with my three boys. While at home, I became an active volunteer in the Barrington schools, for our town’s Juvenile Hearing Board and at Tap-In, a food pantry serving the East Bay. During my four years at Tap-In, I loved leading the organization, collaborating with over 120 wonderful volunteers, and of course helping both individuals and families when they walked through our pantry doors.
When my son was hospitalized at Hasbro for 12 nights in 2025, I saw just how important the Hasbro family rooms are. We frequented the Ronald McDonald Family Room on the 4th floor for the normalcy it provided during that time. It is a privilege and honor to bring food, kindness, and community to pediatric cancer patients and their families visiting the Izzy Family Room.
