John McMahon


Mr. McMahon holds more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry with specific expertise in marketing, sales, strategic planning, budgeting, corporate giving, and regulatory compliance. Mr. McMahon actively manages a number of customer-facing departments for BayCoast Bank including Corporate Giving, Marketing, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Financial Literacy, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), as well as the customer Solutions Center and Interactive Teller Machine Departments. 

Mr. McMahon has a proven track record of strong leadership, team building, communication, and critical decision-making. Building and maintaining meaningful community relationships is a priority for the Community Engagement Department, who works with numerous nonprofits and community organizations to actively develop and execute projects that foster engagement and inclusion in the neighborhoods BayCoast Bank serves.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management, Mr. McMahon is a Board Member with the Bristol Community College Foundation, and the Westport River Watershed Alliance, in addition to serving as a Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education Internship Program Mentor, and for the Fall River United Way Allocation Committee.

Mr. McMahon currently lives in Swansea Massachusetts with his wife and son. In addition to being actively involved in his community, Mr. McMahon also enjoys coaching youth sports and spending time outdoors with his family.
