Karin – aka “Auntie KK” – is Izzy’s Godmother. Her greatest joy came in trying to make Izzy’s every wish come true! She met Tina during her Residency at Brown University Medical School/Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island but met Kyle years before in medical school in Chicago and – as such – takes credit for introducing Kyle and Tina. After residency, Karin moved to NYC to pursue a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Columbia University. Despite still living and working in Manhattan, KK knows she left a piece of her heart in Providence and makes almost monthly trips back to visit the Wohlrabs to spend time with their family as well as attending all The Izzy Foundation events throughout the year.
